What guides everything we do
Bristol based, not Bristol-centric
Hookway works on projects located throughout the South West as well as some larger projects that are based further afield. Our offices are based in Bristol, the ‘gateway’ to the south west, allowing us to provide an excellent service to clients within a two-hour drive of the city, including Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, Gloucester and the Cotswolds.
Local knowledge goes a long way
We find that there is value in having in-depth knowledge of a region. Knowing the local authorities, suppliers and contractors, as well as understanding the geography of an area and being familiar with the history of the environment, can all help inform the work that we do.
Farther afield
Hookway has also been involved in several larger projects located farther afield, such as Hampshire, Chilcomb (South England), Elmswell (East England) and Glenluce (Scotland).
Construction excellence through collaboration
Hookway is committed to working collaboratively with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve the best possible outcomes. This approach was recognised in 2008 when we were part of the Trust Partnering Team that won the Constructing Excellence South West Integration and Collaborative Working Award.
More recently, Hookway has been shortlisted again for the same award in recognition of its role on a major industrial project in the South East, where we provided full cost management and CDM services from inception to completion. The same project team has also been shortlisted for a Construction Excellence Health and Safety Award, reflecting our commitment to safe, well-managed delivery.
